My unofficial time for the Detroit International Half-Marathon:
1:46:48.
That was an 8:09-per-mile pace. It wasn't quite as fast as I was aiming for, but it's fast enough that I can say I met my A-minus goal (A goal was 1:45).
I will have a full race report soon.
For now, let's just say.....I love the city of Detroit!
What a treat, an absolute joy to share this trip with you!!! This was a well deserved and needed confidence boost! I WANT BAR-B-QUE!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW! Congrats Terzah! You so deserve this! Ummm, have you plugged that time into McMillan yet to see what that translates for a marathon (ahem, BQ!).

ReplyDeleteAwesome!! You rock. Clearly. And I had total faith in you, but even better, what wonderful confirmation that your coach absolutely knows what he's doing.
ReplyDeleteYay! I knew you could rock that race :)
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS SO AWESOME!!!! That is a huge PR!! I am so happy for you!!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Terzah! So happy for you!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's amazing when it all comes together! What a wonderful reward for your hard work! And, a very good omen for your BQ push! (I must admit that I am jealous. I ran a half PB of only 1:52 and change a few weeks ago. That 1:50 barrier is so close and tempting . . . )
